Pinspiration: Boyfriend Jeans

Shop boyfriend jeans:
Medium wash  || Distressed || Super distressed || Light wash || Dark wash

Lately I have been loving the style of boyfriend jeans! They look so comfy and relaxed (which is not usually two words I ever use when describing jeans). I'm not much of a fan of skin tight skinnies, but I think I could definitely learn to love these slouchy but chic pants! At first I was like what the heck do you wear with them, but then I took to Pinterest and found all of these amazing ideas. They are one of those style of jeans that you can wear anything with! It is my mission to find some classic boyfriend jeans in the next few weeks while going back to school shopping (basically the only good thing about going back to school, am I right?).

Let me know if (and where) you've bought a pair of BF jeans and loved em'!

Coronado Houses

While we've been in Coronado the last few weeks I feel like every street we go down we see the cutest houses. The coolest thing is, no 2 homes look alike! They are seriously all unique and one-of-a-kind homes and they are all so so cute. They're are all types of styles. Some are Spanish Mediterranean, Modern, Traditional; you name it, Coronado has it!!
While bike riding down the streets (which I've done a ton of since I've been here!), I snapped pictures of some of my favorite houses. I think I had over 20 pictures by the time I was ready to write this post, because there's just so many incredible houses here, it's hard to pick favorites!

But seriously, doesn't this house look like a doll house not a real house!?

I love the white fences!

Some are adorned with flowers...

...while others house kid friendly items.

Some look like they are from a completely different country.

I feel like this house should be in Arizona or Texas (or is it just me?).

This ones just plain adorable, and the chairs add a fun pop of color!

Can I just live in this one now, please?

I just realized most of the houses I took pictures of were blue and white. #sorrynotsorry
I must say I do really love the color combo! It just seems so clean and classic.

Which house is your favorite?

$3 Nine West Purse

Yes, this is the purse that was featured in the Natalie's Style post from earlier this week. While we've been in California we've been doing tons of shopping, and while we've done some high end shopping, we've also done some savvy shopping. As you may know, my mom and I are big into garage saleing and checking out the local thrift stores. So that's exactly what we've done while here in California! Believe it or not, I bought this Nine West purse at a thrift store for $3!! Yes, only 3 dollas, isn't that crazy?! I don't usually ever shop at Nine West, but I do love this purse, and it looks brand new! I checked online and their purses cost all the way up to $200, so I think $3 was a steal!
Stay tuned for more garage sale & thrift store finds from my trip!

Since this purse wasn't purchased brand new at the Nine West store I couldn't find it anywhere online but here are 2 similar looking purses!

Are you a garage sale lover or thrift store junkee? I'd love to hear about the treasures you've found!

6 Products I Swear By

My mom and I both love makeup and beauty products. So over the past few years we've definitely gone through our fair share of both. I've found some products I've loved and some I didn't love so much. Here are a few of the products I use ever single day. I couldn't live without them!
All Things Natalie Christa

1. elf Mineral Eyeshadow Primer: I used to use the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion, and don't get me wrong I loved the product, but then I read this post and I decided to try out the elf primer. I am so glad I did! I now use it every single day. Not only does it work great but it only costs 1 DOLLAR! You can't beat that. Now, any time I'm at Target I'm always sure to pick up some of this primer.

2. Vaseline Lip Therapy:  For some reason, I always seem to have chapped lips because I never remember to put on chap stick throughout the day. So I've now stuck a Vaseline lip therapy (which is the cutest little thing I've ever seen) in my makeup bag, and while I'm (as my mom always says) "putting my face on" every morning, I always swipe some of the Vaseline across my lips and it really keeps them moisturized all day long!

3. Rimmel London Stay Matte Powder: I cannot say enough good things about this powder!! I just recommended it to my Aunt and now she's hooked too. I have oily skin, and once I apply the powder it really does give my skin a matte looking effect. It's cheap (only $3.50!), comes in 4 different shades, and does its job! I always buy the transparent shade and it gives my skin an over all even and shine free look. You can apply this powder with either your favorite brush or a powder puff. I prefer the puff because I think it applies the makeup more evenly. This compact doesn't come with either, so make sure you buy some puffs or a brush if you plan on getting this powder.

4. elf Lash & Brow Clear Mascara: I have naturally curly eyebrows, which are annoying to say the least. I wake up to crazy looking eyebrows every morning, with hairs sticking out every which way. As you can imagine I need something to tame them, and this clear brow mascara does just the trick! It gets my eyebrows in order and it keeps them in place all day, I couldn't ask for anything more!

5. Anastasia Eyebrow Powder Duo: This is my secret for great looking eyebrows! I've used this every single day for the past 2 years and I love it! I feel naked if I walk out of the house without it on. I bought my first (and only) Anastasia eyebrow powder duo at least 2 years ago and its lasted me all this time! So even though it is a little pricey, just know that it is so worth it and it will last for a long time!

6. Olay Complete Moisturizer: This face cream is great, its super gentle and it doesn't irritate my skin or occasional blemishes. I really believe in using a daily moisturizer, not only is it great for your skin, it also protects you from the sun (it has SPF 15!) and keeps the wrinkles away! I used to put on this face cream everyday in the morning and at night, but I found that it made my face a lot oilier through out the day. Now, I only use it at night and it's just the right amount a moisturizer to get me through the day.

What are the products you swear by?

Weekly Wows

Brilliance Brilliance Post Earrings

1// Brighton Brilliance Post Earrings:
A couple weekends ago my step mom took a short trip to Georgia, and she came back bearing gifts!
She got me these beautiful and classic studs, that I can wear with practically anything. I absolutely adore love them! The hearts on the sides are the sweetest touch. I usually wear CZ studs 24/7, but I'm going to have to remember to take these off everyday before bed so they will last for years to come!

2// Chandelier by Sia:
How creepy and amazing is the dancer in this video?! She's 11, how crazy is that! Anyway, this song is my jam. I've been listening to it on repeat for the past few days; I just can't get enough of it. I've also been trying really hard to sing the song just like Sia, but according to my little brother (who screams at me to stop every time) I guess I'm not doing such a great job.
Also, every time I listen to it, I can't help but think how much Sia sounds like Rihanna (like seriously they could be twin singing sisters or something). But hey, Rihanna's a pretty cool twin singing sister to have if you ask me!

3// Associated Press (AP) App:
Maybe it's just me, but I like knowing what's going on in the world. When I took US History this past school year, it amazed me (in a bad way) how much I didn't know about my country. But I made up for lost time, and did well in the class. What also influenced me to keep up with the news was my teacher, she is so passionate about history and a huge believer in watching the news and reading the newspaper everyday. Not only have I taken to reading the newspaper most mornings, but I also have downloaded a few apps to keep me up to date of what's going on in the world. I have New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and AP News downloaded on my phone. AP is my favorite, because of the way the app is organized. I also love that it alerts me of breaking news so I never miss anything! The app is available on iPhone and Android devices!

Sam and Libby

4// Sam and Libby for Target:
I'm finding more and more that practically the only sandals I wear are my Jack Rogers, and I love them, but I'm bored with them! I want more variety in my sandal choices, so I'm on the hunt for some new ones. These Sam and Libby sandals are at the top of my list! I've been dying for a brown pair of sandals and these ones look perfect and I don't have anything like them in my closet already! Don't even get me started about the silver and white pair, I love love love them.

5// Google Drive:
Now that I have a Google Chrome laptop (which I plan on doing a review on soon!) I've started using the Google Drive because that's what all the things on my laptop get saved too automatically. Well this week I found out there's a Google Drive app, which has been so fantastic for getting the photos from my laptop to my phone without me having to email them to myself a bazillion times. Basically it's like Dropbox (I think?!) but I've never used that either so I can't say for sure. All you do is drag files and pictures onto the Google drive website or app and then those items show up when you log into your Google drive account from anywhere or any device! How awesome is that?

Little Italy Farmers Market

We went this past Saturday to the Little Italy Farmers Market. It's one of my favorite things to do when visiting California! It's a seriously huge farmers market, with close to 150 booths, overflowing with goodies. They have all kinds of stuff for sale, from fresh eggs, homegrown veggies, handpicked fruits, fresh squeezed OJ, and so much more! They also have handmade jewelry, clothing, glassware, and lotions! You really can find so many amazing things at this market, I wish we had one like it at home!
Here are just a few of the tons and tons of pictures I took during our day at the farmers market!

In case they didn't look good enough to begin with, they sliced one open just to prove how amazing these tomatoes are inside and out!

Everything looked so fresh! I wish I could of bought one of everything.

#nofilter

I love orange juice, especially with loads and loads of pulp! This fresh squeezed juice hit the spot.

Don't mind if I do :-)

There were also things at the market that I had never heard of before! Hey, you learn something new everyday.

Sunflowers just make me happy, is it just me?

Wow, just wow.

How gorgeous are these carrots?! I didn't even know carrots came in purple, yellow, or white!

We bought a whole bag of peaches, they were so juicy and flavorful!

How cool is this ring I bought! #turquoisefanatic

I'm not much of a beets fan but they looked like they had just been pulled from the ground that morning, I couldn't resist a picture!

I love herb gardens!! I think it's so cool you can have all your favorite herbs in one pot. I'm definitely getting one when I have my own apartment or house one day!

Oh so gorgeous handmade glassware!

My mom couldn't believe the size of these artichokes. They were ginormous! We are both artichoke fans so we had to buy one! It was delish.

Beach Day Essentials

I don't know about you, but during the summer I go to the beach A LOT. Every time I go I always think of something I needed that I forgot to throw into my purse. So I finally put together a bag with all the beach day essentials that I can just grab and go when headed to the coast. If you're planning on heading to the beach this summer or have a beach vacation planned make sure to pack these items! This also makes a great gift for a beachaholic (like me)!

1. Crossword puzzles: I have a 4 year old brother, named Connor, who loves the movie Frozen and honestly I love it too, so my crossword puzzle book of choice was a Frozen themed one so he would enjoy it too. But If it weren't for my little brother I probably would of packed this one instead.
2. Magazines: You can't go to the beach without them! I always bring at least 3 or 4 of my favorites!
3. Flip Flops: Well, what else would you wear to the beach? I'm not a huge flip flop fan but they're my shoe of choice if I'm going to be trekking around in the sand. The LC Lauren Conrad flip flops are practically one  the only flip flops I wear. They're cute, (surprisingly) comfy, and come in 12 different colors! The nude colored ones are my favorite because they match everything!
4. Sand Castle Mold: What's a day at the beach if you don't build a sand castle at least once? It's practically the only thing my little brother does at the beach, well except for constantly throwing sand of course.
5. Wet Ones: These are great for when it's lunch time when you need to get all the yucky sand off of your hands! They're also great for getting sand off of your feet before you hop in the car.
6. Sand Toys: Again, this one only really applies if you are traveling to the beach with younger kids.
7. Sunscreen: Don't forget to put loads of this on during the day! Reapplying is key!
8. Candy: Mine didn't even make it to the beach, it was a snack for the car ride there. :)
9. Beach games: Whether it's soccer, football, badminton, or catch, the beach is the perfect place for all of these games and many more.

Other items I'm going to add to my beach bag: monogrammed baseball hat, Cheerwine, towel, chap stick (with SPF!), Raybans, Rainbow flip flops, monogrammed water bottle, swim suit, and a floppy hat!

Natalie's Style

How silly is this, I got this cross body over 2 year ago, and I'm just now finding great outfits to wear with it! It's so nice to not have to lug around a 20 lbs. purse, and instead just throw on this fun cross body. I've been pairing it a lot with black & white outfits to make the pop of color stand out even more. Oh, and did I mention how much I'm digging turquoise lately? I guess my enthusiasm is showing because a guy at a cafe today said "Wow, you've got a lot of turquoise on there. Is it your birth stone?" (Ummm I'm pretty sure turquoise isn't a birth stone at all, dude).
I also made this turquoise necklace the other day and I'm so glad I finally found something to wear it with!

My Everyday Arm Candy Look

Do you remember my post from a couple weeks ago about this Kate Spade bow bracelet, and the awesome deal I got it for? Well this is how I wear it! This combination of bangles, pearls, and white watch is part of my every day jewelry attire. I usually never leave the house without at least a couple of these pieces on, and the neutral colors match most (if not all) of my outfits. I really love the different colors, metals, and textures in this arm candy look!

Here's where each piece is from:

Are you an arm candy fan? What bracelets do you use to create your arm candy looks?
