Favorite Books

I have a thing for books, especially ones about fashion, accessories, makeup, Jesus, D.I.Y's, and self help books.
I love learning new ways to wear a scarf, or how to master the art of a gorgeous smokey eye.

These are books I read time and time again, and some of them even daily.
Here is my book list {from top to bottom}:

  1. Jesus Calling: A daily dose of Jesus. There’s a little scripture a day for you to read that is guaranteed to uplift you and fill your heart with His love.
  2. Q and A a Day: 5 Year Journal: You answer 1 question a day for 5 years, so then you can go back and compare your answers the year before and see how much you’ve changed year after year. It’s great for people like me who want to keep a journal but don’t want to write pages and pages each night.
  3. OneGood Deed a Day: This book gives you a good deed task for you to fulfill each day. It’s truly rewarding every time you complete one of the tasks.
  4. Holy Bible: It’s always good to devote a little time to Jesus each day.
  5. The Green Book: Tells you all the ways you can help the environment. We could all be a little nicer to our planet.
  6. TheGirls Book of Glamour: Gives you all sorts of ways on how to pamper yourself. Every girl deserves to be pampered once in a while right?
  7. Savvy Chic: Tips on how to dress and decorate like a million bucks, by only spending a couple bucks. The art of thrifting and shopping on a budget.
  8. Backwardsin High Heels: The tips and tricks of being a woman. Geared towards all ages. Including tips on food, careers, health, and more.
  9. 869 New Uses for Old Things: Just what the title says, uses for old things. Tips on how to use everyday items in other ways including a toothpick, dryer sheet, string, and tons of other items.
  10. 642 Things to Write About: Perfect for people who love to write and want to get  their creative juices flowing. With 642 writing prompts you’ll have plenty to write  about.
  11. The Teen Vogue Handbook: Get a look into the fashion industry and creation of the  iconic magazine, Teen Vogue. Some of the world’s top designers answer the 10        most asked questions by people wanting to enter the fashion industry. If you’re        looking into getting a career in the fashion world, this book is meant for you.
  12. Lauren Conrad: Style: My style bible. I go back to this book over and over again to  get inspiration on new outfits I put together. I love everything about this book and  Lauren’s classic style. This is a must buy.
  13. Lauren Conrad: Beauty: After falling in love with LC’s Style book, I naturally got her  following book about beauty. It was worth every penny. She shares on how to  create a natural look, a party look, and every look in between. She not only talks  about makeup but she also shares tips on how to stay healthy and take care of your  skin, nails, and entire body.
  14. Seventeen: The Ultimate Guide to Style: A great tool in trying to figure out your  personal style. They include looks such as boho, classic, girly, edgy, and more.
  15. Seventeen: The Ultimate Guide to Beauty: Shares beauty tricks on how to achieve  your personal look. Whether you like a classic winged eyeliner, or a creamy and  natural boho like eyeshadow, they will tell you how to achieve every look you can  imagine!
  16. Artful Blogging Magazine: One of my new favorite magazines! They feature  bloggers from all over the world and not only help you discover new incredible  blogs but they also give you blog post ideas.
