$3 Nine West Purse

Yes, this is the purse that was featured in the Natalie's Style post from earlier this week. While we've been in California we've been doing tons of shopping, and while we've done some high end shopping, we've also done some savvy shopping. As you may know, my mom and I are big into garage saleing and checking out the local thrift stores. So that's exactly what we've done while here in California! Believe it or not, I bought this Nine West purse at a thrift store for $3!! Yes, only 3 dollas, isn't that crazy?! I don't usually ever shop at Nine West, but I do love this purse, and it looks brand new! I checked online and their purses cost all the way up to $200, so I think $3 was a steal!
Stay tuned for more garage sale & thrift store finds from my trip!

Since this purse wasn't purchased brand new at the Nine West store I couldn't find it anywhere online but here are 2 similar looking purses!

Are you a garage sale lover or thrift store junkee? I'd love to hear about the treasures you've found!

Etsy Shop: Leslie Zander Design

These pens keep popping up all over the place! For months, I've seen them featured in magazines, blog posts, and Instagram photos. So being the pen fanatic I am, I decided I must get my hands on some. So then, by also being the deal diva I am, my search began to find these pens for a reasonable price. At first I came across some shops that were charging $5 a pen (are you kidding me? My Starbucks drink doesn't even cost that much). I wanted to beat that price and I did when I finally came across the Leslie Zander Design Etsy Shop. I fell head over heels for the array of pen colors available, ranging from soft pastels, to vibrant hues. Not only were the colors great but the price tag was way more reasonable too (only $1.75 a pen!)
When deciding on which pens to buy, you may experience one of these dilemmas. Only love one or two of the Le Pens? No problemo, just buy them individually! Love all the colors and can't just choose one or two of them? Well then, buy all 18 colors in a set!
Trust me, once you get a couple of these pens, you'll be crawling back for me in no time.
What's great about them is they come in tons of cute colors (duh), they are light weight and super easy to write with, they also have a sleek design, and are just plain adorable. What more could you ask for in a pen?

The periwinkle Le Pen is turning out to be one of my favorites!

Sell & Swap Clothes on Vinted

So a few weeks ago I did a huge clean out of my closet. I kept trying to figure out ways I could sell my clothes. I've tried Ebay and people seriously only bid on .99 cent items, and when it costs more to ship the item than your actual profit you might as well not waste your time posting it in the first place. I also tried Poshmark and I liked it but the flat shipping rate was was $8, which was absurd, especially if you bought something like a 2 oz necklace. So after all the disappointment and still 2 garbage bags overflowing with clothes, I finally found Vinted and I haven't looked back since. Just to give you an idea of my surprising success with the app, since I've been selling on Vinted I've sold more items in one month than I did on Ebay and Poshmark combined in one year. I love how easy it is to post, sell and swap items! Oh and transferring the money you made from sales straight into your bank account couldn't be easier. Now you want to be apart of the fun too right? Download the app asap and start posting your unwanted clothes! You'll be amazed at how easy it is to post and sell items in a jiffy.

Don't forget to check out my items for sale!

LC Lauren Conrad Maxi

I love Maxi dresses. You can wear them to a fancy night out or just around your house, {or is that just me?}. I picked up this maxi at Kohls the other day for only $24! It was 60% off!! It's marked a different price on the website, but I found this dress on the sale rack, so be sure to pop into Kohls and search the sale racks! It may sound annoying, but it's how you get the best deals.

The thing I love most about this dress is the pleated design. It makes the dress look so much fancier and elegant.
You can't go wrong with the colors either, the solid black and grey design make it so versatile. I definitely think this is one of those maxis you could wear all year round!

Oh, and in case you were wondering it also looks great when you're twirling.post signature

$1 J.Crew Denim Vest

Necklace // Top

Just another reason why garage sales are the absolute best. I snatched up this {practically brand new} j.crew jean jacket a couple weeks ago and have fallen in love with it ever since! I love the layered look it gives, and I can't wait to find new ways to wear it! Oh, and just in case you were wondering I found a similar {quite possibly the same exact jacket I bought} online HERE
$100 vs. 4 quarters.
That's pretty unreal if you ask me.

Are you a fellow garage saler? What have been some of your best finds?

Warby Parker

You guys are in for a treat today! Have you heard of Warby Parker before? If not, let me clue you in. It's a fabulous eyewear company, who not only donates a pair of glasses when you purchase a pair {how awesome is that!}, but they also have an at home try-on service! Which I totally took advantage of! You pick out 5 pairs you like from their website and they'll send them to you FOR FREE! Once you receive them you get to hang onto them for a whole 5 days! In that time, you can wear them to school, work, or even on your weekly errand run! Don't forget to model for your friends too of course so they can tell you their favorite frames! {I hope I don't sound like an infomercial:} For an everyday contact wearer, like myself, having a cute pair of glasses is essential in order to give your eyes a break once-in-a-while. I can't wait to order a pair of  Warby Parker's. Help me decide which ones I should get!

Well this basically made my day... :)

Once you pop open the box {which was way harder than it looks} this is what you'll be greeted with!

I followed the directions on the card of course...

Here's how the whole at home try-on process works - pretty straight forward and easy to follow. They even include a pre paid shipping label for you to stick on the box when it's time to send back the glasses!

Here are my 5 picks, don't laugh I know they all look identical similar but I swear they are all different!!

Now's the fun part - trying them on! I numbered the glasses 1-5 so you can tell me at the end which ones you think I should get! {sorry in advance for my unnaturally frizzy and poodle-like hair, I got rained on and my hair obviously did not like that.}

I think you can tell which pair I don't like. :-)

Which pair do you think I should get?!
