1 Year Blogaversary

WOW! I cannot believe I've been blogging for an entire year now! It seems like just yesterday I was writing my very first blog post.  This blog has become not only my hobby, but also a full time job. People don't realize all the work that goes into having a blog. A day doesn't go by where I'm not writing new posts, responding to emails, replying to comments, or answering questions. It has been one heck of a roller coaster, with times where I've been in love with it and times where I've almost deleted the blog completely. But overall its been such a rewarding experience, that I wouldn't trade for anything in the world. I've made friends who are literally on the other side of the world from me. I've learned about marketing and graphic design, which has helped me decide what I want to study next year in college.
This blog has opened so many new doors for me and I can't wait to see where this blogging roller coaster takes me next.

Also, thank you to all my sweet readers!! I hope to make many new bloggy friends in the future!

I'm a Chameleon

Yes I called myself a lizard. Not in the colorful, scaly, and curly tail way. But In the way that I'm constantly changing my mind, like Chameleons change their colors. As you probably noticed, I changed my blog design again. I know I know, my blog isn't even a year old, and I've already changed the design of it one, two... four times. You probably think I'm crazy but it's just how I am. If you know me or are around me a lot you know I change my iPhone cases at least once a week. I don't know why but I'm just constantly changing mind on what I like and don't like. I get something new and I love it immensely for a few weeks (or months if you're lucky), and then out of the blue I get so over it and have to change it ASAP.
It's sorta a problem, but I'm working on it!! I promise I'll keep this design up for AT LEAST the whole summer (mmm, that's probably a lie).

Can we just take a second and talk about how adorable Pascal the Chameleon from Tangled is?! I was just going to include one picture of him, but I thought he deserved a whole collage for sure. I mean come on, don't you just want to hug and squeeze him, and touch is wittle 2 toed feet (maybe that was too far) ?! Really though, he's seriously awesome in the movie. He's Rapunzels right hand man Chameleon! After I saw him in the movie, Tangled, I really wanted a Chameleon of my own that would sit on my shoulder all day like Pascal! But then reality hit and I realized real life Chameleons weren't even close to being as cute as Pascal, they're actually a little scary looking, and I don't think they really like hanging out on peoples shoulders.
But if anyone has one or is planning on getting one, I'd love to babysit it sometime! :-)

Do you like my new blog design?
Do you love Pascal and the movie Tangled just as much as I do?

How To Write a Comment

Lately I've been getting questions on how to write comments on blog posts. So I thought I'd whip up a little tutorial on how to do it! It's really simple and easy once you get the hang of it.

#1) Pick the post you want to comment on.

#2) Scroll down to the bottom of the post.

#3) Below "Xoxo, Natalie", you should see info about the post, including when it was posted, and the amount of comments. Click on the comments button.

#4) When you click on the comments, they will all appear. Scroll down past the comments until you see the box below.

#5) When you see the box, enter in your comment where it says "Enter Your Comment Here".
#6) When your done typing in your comment, click the blue publish button. Then your comment will be live on the blog!

I hope this was helpful for people who weren't sure on how to comment on a blog post!
I hope you'll comment on a post soon!

BLOG MAKEOVER!

Notice something different on the blog today? Maybe just one or two things? No. How bout a million different things!!! All Things Natalie Christa has gotten a FULL makeover all the way from the header, to the welcome photo, to the social media icons, to the entire sidebar, it's all new and improved all thanks to my #1 homie Areeba! This girl is freakin' amazing and talented beyond belief! My blog is proof of it!
I'm beyond ecstatic about this new look and new chapter of my blog. I hope to expand it and excel in it even more.

If you have a blog of your own, pretty please with extra cheese grab one of my lovely new buttons! {HTML code located on my sidebar} And if you want the same in return, I would love to swap buttons with you, just email me!

Thank you again Areeba, for giving me exactly what I wanted and so much more. Thank you also, for not killing me after the 1,293 emails I sent you about changing this and that. You are such a sweet and giving person! You're extraordinary!

Check out Areeba's Designs and have her hit you up with a blog design that looks {maybe} as cool as mine :)

P.S If anyone knows of the magical way to change the color of the title, links, and any of the other blue lettering on this post LET ME KNOW! Areeba and I have tried all day and we've changed the color in the blogger template designer but it doesn't seem to take effect and show up on the actual blog.

The Snail Mail Collective!

I've always wanted a pen pal, I have tried for years to get my cousins in England to be my pen pal and write me letters but they never got the hang of it. I'm one of those people who still LOVES to receive and send hand written letters and packages, I guess I'm kind of old fashioned that way?

This is me when I get something in the mail:

Well as you can imagine my cousins didn't share my enthusiasm...

So when I came across The Snail Mail Collective I was over the moon about the whole thing and could not wait to see who I got paired with. I was paired with the fabulous Areeba over at the I have a messy bun blog!

I thought the Snail Mail Collective would just be a fun way to connect with other bloggers and I would get to do that hand written letter and package I've been dying to send someone!! :)
But boy was I wrong, I found a best friend out of it! You may be thinking how can you be best friends with someone you've never met? By emailing 24/7 and stalking each other's blogs!

Areeba is going through the same crappppp at school that I've been faced with as well. It's funny how a girl, the same age as you, whose on the opposite side of the world from you, can relate to you in ways you can't even imagine.

This has also been such an interesting learning experience as well. Areeba lives in Pakistan and we have both learned so much about our very different cultures. We both hope we get to meet one day and visit each others countries. She also has a twin, Noor! I'm so jealous, I've always wanted a twin. But it's ok because I've become their honorary triplet :-) I'm beyond excited about this!!

To wrap things up:  Areeba, I am so so thankful to Melissa  for creating the Snail Mail Collective so that I could meet you! Thank you for being amazing and helping me with the drama of my daily life and for guiding me into the bloggie world, I would be a lost soul without you!

Sending you a big one of these:

xoxoxoxxo, Natalie

Now onto the goodies she sent me!!!!
Take a sec and look at the package all the goodies came in. It had like 12 stamps by the time it reached me all the way over here on the other side of the world!

Love the card!! and the Nemo on it! {not really sure why there's a nemo on my card but I'm loving the creativity Areeba!:}

These are all the fun goodies she got me!! The theme of the Snail Mail Collective was under the sea which explain the seashell, but we didn't really follow the theme too closely {sorry Melissa!}

,

A beautiful necklace {that I have already worn}, a spoon?, some of her favorite candies {they were so good}, a sea shell, some rupees, and nail accessories!

Nom nom nom :)

Lovin' this necklace!

Not sure if this was meant to be a bracelet, but I'm wearing it as one!

Thank you again for everything Areeba xoxox!
You can check out what I got her HERE!
