Shake It Off

I've always been a T-Swift fan, I've bought every one of her albums - ever since her "teardrops on my guitar" days (I even learned how to play it on the guitar when I was 10!). Anyway, she's my spirit animal. Then, "shake it off" happened and I fell in love with her all over again. I first heard the song, this past week, right at the perfect time. A hurtful incident happened at school (seriously on the 3rd day of school, come on) and I knew I just needed to forget about it. But honestly, the whole thing really bothered me. But then I heard this song and it completely changed my attitude about the whole situation! Sometimes you just have to shake things off and not take them to heart! The most important thing is just to be yourself and to not let anyone's comments change that!

Needless to say I am so excited for her new album to come out on October 27th, I've already pre-ordered it of course!

Are you excited for Taylor's new album?

First Day of Senior Year Outfit

First of all let me just say sorry for being so flaky with posts this month! I won't lie, I waited until the last possible second moment to do my summer reading assignment, and even though I almost died in the process - I finally completed it on Sunday. So ever since I got back from Cali. I've been spending all my free time tackling that assignment. So to say I'm thrilled to be done with it is a major understatement. Other than that I basically wrapped up my summer by working at Rifle tons and prepping for school to start (hello back to school shopping!).

Here is my first day of school outfit! I really didn't want to over due it this year. (Seniors are suppose to look like they aren't even trying, right?) So I went with some boyfriend jeans and a plain white tee!

I added this adorable bow at the last minute because I thought it added a sweet feminine touch.

Did anyone else start school this week?

Silver Arm Candy Look

When I'm not wearing my everyday bracelets, I'm usually wearing a combination of these silver bracelets! I've been super into bracelets lately and I love layering them all on, so of course I had to come up with a silver set (since I wear a lot more of silver than I do gold). I must say, I love the end result of this look. I think the key when layering bracelets is to use different textures and widths of bracelets to make it a bit more interesting, compared to just wearing multiples of the same bracelet. I'm definitely going to keep experimenting with more arm candy looks, I think the next one is going to be a mixed metals look!

What are some of your favorite bracelets to layer with?
